Meditation is a soothing, yet relaxing method that allows the individual to reach their "higher state of consciousness" along with connecting their higher self. Most importantly, it allows a person to heal old wounds and releases negative energy from our physical and spiritual bodies to make us more relaxed, focused, peaceful and centered in our daily life on Earth.
Public relations can be stressful at times, especially when it comes to meeting critical deadlines, sending press kits to promote their clients, attending awards shows, and meetings with other PR companies and the media along with keeping a continuous positive open communication with the media, and their PR clients on a daily or sometimes weekly basis. Deadlines along with handling difficult questions from the media and the daily demands of keeping your clients happy takes a lot of energy out of a person. I would recommend meditating daily and going into nature as often as possible to lower the stress levels, create a positive frame of mind and allow peace and creativity to flow back into our consciousness.
I meditate at least two hours every day to release any stress, tension, or anxiety that I experience in my daily life. I have been meditating for almost four years now. I feel lighter, younger, have more energy through the day, and I am more happier now. Public relations practitioners should incorporate meditation into their daily routine, whether they are at the office or at home. It will allow everyone to be at their best, and open up your "creative" juices.
Happy Saturday, everyone!!
