Golf has emerged into my life as a hobby that has ignited my creative juices, made me more patient and it has sparked me to start up my strategic thinking on if I should hit a draw or a fade on the driving range with my woods or irons. I recently picked up the game of golf again due to my intuition and a spark of encouragement from my siblings. My two grandfathers were avid golf players, and were great at playing the game of golf. Grandpa George use to take me to the driving range and putting green every summer when he use to live in Desert Hot Springs. Wow, I can vividly remember those times when me and my Grandpa spent quality time on the golf course. I miss those times that we spent together.
Golf is a wonderful stress reliever and allows you to hone in on your long game and short game around the greens. Smelling the green grass, walking on Mother Earth, feeling the cool breeze on your back when you are on the putting green is so peaceful and serene at the same time. I am so grateful that the weather in Southern California is warm and pleasant now. God has blessed me with the ability to play this wonderful sport. I recently bought a new Callaway Strata Plus golf set of graphite shaft irons and graphite woods along with a mallet putter to start the new year right in 2017. I really enjoy my new golf clubs.
I am looking to sharpen my long game and short game around the greens. Once I am able to feel comfortable hitting my irons and woods on the driving range, along with putting on the practice putting greens along with chipping, pitching and hitting balls out of the bunker, I am planning on taking my golf game out to the golf course to put my skills to the ultimate test. My dream is to play beautiful and historic golf courses such as Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island in South Carolina and TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Florida. These are amazing and breathtaking golf courses that are played by the professional PGA Tour players.
Here is an amazing video on improving your golf swing. Happy Sunday!!
