Public speaking has been another incredible arena that I have wanted to explore all of my life. It is so touching to speak on a memorable topic that makes a difference in your audience's life and your life as well. The human voice is magical. You are the light being or the bright light that must be the inspirational figure to give the people what they want or desire. I want to become a public speaker because I have a charismatic and warm personality towards new people that I meet everyday along with people in my own family and friends as well. I strongly feel that public speaking will open up more doors and opportunities along with greatly increasing my self confidence and courage. People look up to strong and confident people who know when to take bold action and inspire them to have those same qualities as well. There is a great quote by Mark Twain on courage. "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear."
I have spoken to my classmates in public relations in front of the class in the past giving a class presentation and I have spoken in my other high school classes in front of the class as well. I had felt nervousness, anxiety and fear that people would make fun of my speech and work. It is a common issue that people have a fear of speaking in front of people. I had the privilege of hosting a high school talent show where I had to speak in front of a medium size audience with parents, students and teachers in the audience. I was nervous, but I was also brave, courageous and confident as well. That night went extremely well for me. If I did not have the courage to take on this great task, I would not have known what the outcome would have been.
Some public speaking topics that I am thinking about giving in my speeches are on public relations, courage, motivation, online freelance writing, and writing a book as well. This is an incredible moment and opportunity that I will not pass up. Public speaking can allow you to become an "hero" or mentor to other people in your audience that inspire to do great things in their life as well. Public speaking is a place that is very natural to me. Speaking in front of small, or large crowds of people makes me excited and blessed because I can share my valuable knowledge or information to people who are there to listen, learn and actively participate in the process. I saw in my past life regression session with Angie Sanchez that public speaking is another place that will benefit me greatly in my current life. I want to touch the life of others in a positive way. Thank you. Here is a great Youtube video on how to be an effective public speaker.
